Artist, writer to present talk for NASA Langley

HAMPTON

Artist and science writer Michael Carroll will present a free talk about weather on distant planets and future space travel at 7:30 tonight at the Virginia Air & Space Center.

His talk is titled "Drifting on Alien Winds: Exploring the Skies and Weather on Other Worlds."

Carroll's art is aboard the Phoenix Lander on the surface of Mars and was placed on the Mir space station. His work also has appeared in many magazines.

The talk is sponsored by NASA Langley Research Center.
