Maps: Virginia Beach weighs council redistricting options

This evening, the public will get a chance to weigh in on six options for redrawing City Council districts.

The council is scheduled to select a scenario at its Aug. 23 meeting, and then must submit the plan to the U.S. Department of Justice for approval. The public is invited to comment on the options at 6 p.m. today in the council chambers.
