Tidewater Community College students who commit to transferring to Norfolk State University will be allowed student privileges at NSU, such as attending games for free, officials with the schools announced Wednesday.
NSU President Tony Atwater and TCC President Deborah DiCroce met at Norfolk State for a ceremonial signing of an agreement, which strengthens and expands the transfer program between the schools. The schools have hired more staff to track TCC-NSU students and help them become better prepared academically.
TCC students must complete 12 credit hours and meet Norfolk State's academic standards before transferring.

And the rest of the facts are:
What was not mentioned in the article is that all colleges in Virginia that are State funded have a transfer agreement with TCC and the rest of the community colleges. This “program” is in no way exclusive to Norfolk State.
Norfolk State has a very poor reputation and graduation rate compared to the rest of the colleges in Virginia.
Good colleges like UVA, VPI, and ODU naturally attract transfer students; football tickets not needed.
Poor Reputation?
If I were you I wouldn't be so quick to judge. But everyone has his/her own opinion. Plus the article did not imply that this program was exclusive to NSU only. The article also did not imply that free football tickets were included. It stated "such as attending games for free"! Eurethra I believe the VP sucked you into expressing yourself negatively. They got your best for the rest of us to see. Good job of exposing Eurethra VP. NSU and TCC please continue to work together to provide a better society for all. BTW, I'm a very successful NSU graduate. It's not just the school but the individual.
