Currituck County begins mosquito spraying tonight

CURRITUCK COUNTY

Mosquito spraying was expected to take place today from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the southern part of the county.

Weather permitting, the spraying will cover Harbinger and Point Harbor, a Currituck County news release said. Spraying should continue in the same area Friday morning from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.

After the Friday morning spraying, an assessment will be done to determine subsequent spray areas and times. Crews will spray throughout each section of the county.
