Currituck County, N.C., disaster recovery center open

CURRITUCK COUNTY, N.C.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency Disaster Recovery Center in Barco is open to residents who need help applying for assistance.

The center is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week, according to a county news release. It’s located at the Cooperative Extension Center, 120 Community Way.

For more information or to apply for help by phone, call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). Users of 711 or the video relay service may also use that number. Those who use a TTY, can call 1-800-462-7585.

Register online at www.disasterassistance.gov or with a tablet or smartphone at m.fema.gov.
