Hampton VA to host job fair for Iraq, Afghan veterans

HAMPTON

The Hampton VA Medical Center is hosting a job and information fair Friday for veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and their families.

The event, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature a ceremony thanking veterans for their service, a picnic and information on programs available through Veterans Affairs and other organizations. The aim is to help veterans transition smoothly to the VA health system.
