Posted to: Education Entertainment Norfolk

NORFOLK
Norfolk State University and nearby Booker T. Washington High School are strengthening their long-standing relationship with a new partnership that will mean more mentoring and scholarship money for the high school.

The agreement, to be signed by college and school officials Monday, is intended to promote skills in science, technology, engineering, math and allied health for Booker T. students. Norfolk State will provide mentoring and tutoring and will offer a tuition scholarship each year to Booker T. Washington’s valedictorian and salutatorian.
