A man forced two restaurant employees into a walk-in freezer during a robbery this morning.
The employees, a man and woman, weren’t injured, police wrote in a news release.
About 5:30 a.m., an armed man approached the female employee outside the Burger King at 10721 Jefferson Ave. and forced her back inside the business.
Once inside, the robber forced both employees to go into the office where he ordered them to put cash into a backpack. The robber then ordered them into the freezer and fled.
The robber was described as black, 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10, with a thin build. He wore a black sweatshirt with a hood, a black ski mask, black boots, light blue jeans and beige gloves. The backpack and gun he carried were black.
