Virginia Beach financial expo to run through Saturday

VIRGINIA BEACH

The first Family, Business & Community Expo will continue through Saturday at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

Organized by Aaron Wheeler, a pastor, the expo is designed to help area residents navigate difficult economic times. The expo includes seminars on health, public safety, business and employment.

On Friday, experts will host financial workshops. Saturday's schedule includes foreclosure workshops; a panel discussion on being a military spouse; and activities, such as a puppet show, cultural dances and a mime performance.
