I've been following this story..
since it first broke, and I will say that it is wrong on so many levels to use this as an excuse to get rid of Paterno. Unless anyone can prove that Joe Pa knew of molestations and did nothing (which goes against what has been reported), his standing as the coach there should be determined via other criteria. I want any and all child molesters to BURN, but I also know that everybody deserves a chance to refute such charges. That's what I take from the revelations about the accusations Sandusky had and has against him. Paterno reported it up his change of command. For him, that should be the end of story, he complied with his responsibilities, and those others are in a better position to determine the next step(s).
