From the newsroom
Coming Sunday, we'll have a poster inside the print edition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the aircraft carrier Enterprise. Also, in our city tabs and online, we'll focus on the salaries of area school employees. And we'll have extensive coverage of the big game between NSU and ODU. -- Maria Carrillo, managing editor

Extensive coverage?
It is now approximately four hours after the ODU-NSU football game kickoff and and there is no news of the game, no score posted here. I live out of the area but have great interest in the game. Perhaps they're in the 7th overtime period, but I doubt it.
Good luck to anyone looking to pilotonline.com for the score. It would have been nice to have some tweeting or live blogging to follow significant developments in the game.
Have you guys figured out this thing with the intertubes yet?
oh well
OK, since my earlier message I've poked around and found out that the NCAA put the kabosh on your sports writers tweeting/blogging from the game.
But could you explain why you have since then posted the LSU-Alabama final score, which probably came about three hours after the ODU-NSU score......and the latter is still not posted.
Did the NCAA forbid reporting the final score? If so, I suggest you call your lawyers. That would be a bit too much proprietary impropriety on the NCAA's part.
