Volunteers needed for maritime festival Opsail 2012

Organizers of OpSail 2012, the maritime festival coming to Hampton Roads in June, are accepting applications for volunteers. The first volunteer information meeting is scheduled for Dec. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center in downtown Norfolk.

Volunteers are needed for work including hosting, translating, assisting at information booths and educating attendees on the War of 1812 and tall-ship history.
