Edgar Cayce's teachings rolled into two gadget apps

Posted to: News Virginia Beach

Move over, Angry Birds. You, too, Fruit Ninja.

Make room for Edgar Cayce.

Though he died in 1945, the renowned psychic joined those online apps last month when his Virginia Beach-based Association for Research and Enlightenment launched two apps: his $2.99 Thought for the Day and a $1.99 dream interpreter.

Cayce gave psychic "readings" to thousands of seekers. Now, users of iPhones, iPads and iPod touches can read Cayce's teachings. Android phones might be next.

Some users have posted reviews saying the Dream Dictionary has limited content. But web designer Kelly Dunn, 50, a Michigan resident, loves both apps.

"I believe your dreams are your other life - the twin that you're ignoring," he mused.

"... Your dreams are trying to tell you what's coming down the road. It's amazing."
