Cox’s Casey DiNardo has been named to the Harrow Sports/National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-American first team.

DiNardo, a senior midfielder who has committed to North Carolina, had 35 goals and 20 assists this past season on her way to earning Beach District and Eastern Region player of the year honors. She also is a member of the U19 U.S. junior women’s national team.

DiNardo was 1 of 3 Virginians on the first team, along with teammates Amanda Kim and Kali Vicars of St. Catherine’s School in Richmond.

Caroline Chromik and Julia Young of Group AA Grafton High in Yorktown were third-team selections.
