An RV crashed into an Oceanfront hotel Friday evening, but it does not appear anyone was seriously hurt, according to emergency dispatch.
About 5:20 p.m., the RV crashed into the Days Inn near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and 10th Street, dispatch said. It appears the driver may have suffered a medical emergency
Jordan Clark, who works at the hotel’s front desk, said employees saw the RV speed into the parking lot and then hit the building where its six-story section and three-story section meet. The building did not suffer serious damage, he said.
“Thankfully, the hotel still is structurally sound,” Clark said. “There’s not too much damage now that we can see.”
There were no serious injuries reported, dispatch said.
