Virginia Beach shopping center sold for $2.7 million

The firm 130 London Bridge LLC spent $2.7 million to buy a strip shopping center at the intersection of Buckner and Independence boulevards in Virginia Beach, S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. announced Friday.

The 12,814-square-foot shopping center, which is called the Buckner Boulevard Retail Center, was purchased from Buckner 3545 Associates LLC, the Norfolk-based real estate firm said in a news release.

Tenants at the shopping center include Pollard's Chicken and Allstate Insurance.

The buyer is a firm backed by Carlton E. Seay Jr.
