Weather: Mild today with highs in the 50s

Posted to: Weather Virginia

Weather will remain quite mild Tuesday, with temperatures in the low to mid-50s, and partly to mostly cloudy skies. Wednesday looks to be even warmer, with temperatures that may reach into the 70s, and showers possible.

By Thursday and Friday we start cooling off a bit, but rain is possible through Saturday.

The region shouldn’t expect a white Christmas: Early forecasts call for a partly cloudy day with highs in the 50s. That’s pretty typical for Dec. 25, according to the National Weather Service. The average high for Norfolk on Christmas is 50 degrees.
