Current traffic and road conditions in Hampton Roads

Here are road and traffic conditions in Hampton Roads as of 5:45 p.m., according to the Virginia Department of Transportation:

NORFOLK

-Expect major delays on US-58 West at the Midtown Tunnel West because of congestion. Traffic is backed up about one mile.

-Expect major delays on I-264 West at the Downtown Tunnel West because of congestion. Traffic is backed up about two miles.

CHESAPEAKE

-Expect major delays on I-64 East at the High Rise Bridge because of congestion. Traffic is backed up about 2.5 miles.

NEWPORT NEWS

-Expect major delays on I-64 West at mile marker 253.7 because of congestion. Traffic is backed up about two miles.
