Free lecture at Jefferson Lab about Virginia volcanoes

“Volcanoes in Virginia” will be the topic of a free lecture at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, 12000 Jefferson Ave.

The speaker will be Elizabeth Johnson, assistant professor in the geology and environmental sciences department of James Madison University.

First-come seating is limited to 300 persons. A valid photo ID is needed for everyone over age 16. Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
