Homearama to be set in East Beach in October

Posted to: Business News Norfolk Realty News

NORFOLK

Homearama, the Tidewater Builders Association's semiannual showcase of new homes, will be held in October at the East Beach community in Norfolk, the association said Tuesday.

East Beach hosted the Fall 2010 Homearama, which featured nine homes, ranging in price from about $559,000 to more than $899,000.

The association will hold a lot drawing this month for builders who wish to participate in the fall show. Up to 25 lots are available for interested builders, the association said.

It will be the third time East Beach has hosted Homearama.

The builders group also is holding a spring showcase in May at Culpepper Landing in Chesapeake.

Nice over price homes for sale

You know what would be neat, showcase new homes where most people can afford them. Thre are not many people who can afford a $300,000 to $500,000 home,no matter how nice they are. What's really sad, those $300-$500,000 homes cost no where near the selling price to build.

light rail will change that

and the answer is....LIGHT RAIL

Fabulous Area and Development!

East Beach has always done a First Class Job in hosting this event!
Great choice!

norfolk housing and redevelopment and Quid pro quo

Looks like a little Quid pro quo going on here with the location. Just saying...

Again?

No one else will give them free amenities to hold the event in their city?
