Newport News police seek man in Jan. 13 robbery case

Police have warrants charging a 25-year-old man with robbing an individual Jan. 13 in the 800 block of J. Clyde Morris Blvd.

The warrants charge Devon McNair with robbery and using a gun during a felony, a police news release says. McNair’s last known address was in the 700 block of Antrim Drive.

The man who was robbed told police that four other men approached him about 5:15 a.m. on Jan. 13 and took his car and personal items, including credit cards. About 40 minutes later, someone tried to make purchases with the card at the Hampton Walmart.

Police are trying to identify other men in the case.
