NORTH CAROLINA

The state's Department of Transportation will replace drainage pipes across Colington Road in Dare County today at 6 p.m.

The road will be closed at night to all traffic until 6 a.m. Monday.

There is no detour.

The pipes were damaged when Hurricane Irene blew through the area in August.
