ODU women: Buchan starting vs. William & Mary

The Old Dominion women's team will start Mairi Buchan tonight against William & Mary, replacing Shakeva Richards in the starting lineup. Buchan is averaging 6.7 points and 3.7 rebounds against Richards' 5.6 points and 2.5 rebounds.

Richards scored 16 points in ODU's second game and 18 points in its sixth, but has been in single-digits ever since. Buchan has scored in double-digits in two of the last four games and has gotten consistantly better since a slow start, something head coach Karen Barefoot attributed to the junior's heavy course load.
