Police have charged two men in the robbery of a woman who was delivering pizza Monday night in the 1100 block of Merchants Court.
Chesapeake police were called about 8:25 p.m. and the woman said she was exiting her vehicle to make a delivery for Papa John’s Pizza when she saw the two men, a police news release said. One of the men was carrying what appeared to be a handgun.
No additional details about the robbery were released.
Police said this morning that two officers who were in the area last night spotted two men running into a residence and investigated. A search warrant was executed and they were taken into custory.
Brian W. Faulcon, 27, and Brandon G. Smith, 26, both were charged with robbery and using a gun during a felony, police wrote in a news release. Faulcon, of the 2400 block of Featherbed Court, and Smith, of the 1000 block of River Birch Court, are being held in jail.
