Utility service rolls out new online payment options

Posted to: Business Consumer - Retail

Hampton Roads Sanitation District and Hampton Roads Utility Billing Service are expanding online service options. Customers will begin receiving a redesigned paper bill in mid-January, and they will be able to enroll in electronic billing and use new online payment options, a news release said.

Those who enroll online will be able to see their billing and payment history, print copies and use a new EZ-Pay service for one-time or recurring payments. Payments may be made from checking or savings accounts or by using credit or debit cards. There are no fees for using the new online features. Any customers already enrolled in the current HRSD/HRUBS automatic payment plan will have to enroll in the new program.
