Police are asking for the public’s help to identify two men who robbed the ABNB Federal Credit Union this morning.
The two men entered the credit union in the 3500 block of Buckner Blvd. shortly after 10 a.m., a Virginia Beach police news release said. One man jumped over the counter and was able to take an undisclosed amount of cash. The second man stayed in the lobby area of the bank. The two then fled on foot toward South Independence Boulevard.
Police said the first robber was described as a black man, 5 feet 10, 190 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a brown and orange hooded, zipped-up sweatshirt, a black sweatshirt underneath, blue jeans and dark-colored gloves. The second robber was described as a black man, 6 feet to 6 feet 2, with a slim build and wearing a black jacket, light-colored shirt underneath, dark blue jeans, and a blue and white knitted hat with tassels on each side.
They were not seen getting into a vehicle.
