A contractor employee at Fort Lee who allowed inmates he supervised to have sex with prostitutes will spend four months on probation.
Media outlets report that 49-year-old Donald E. Grayson was sentenced Thursday by a federal judge.
Grayson pleaded guilty last September to assisting escape.
According to court documents, Grayson worked for a contractor who maintained a firing range at Fort Lee. He supervised work-release inmates from a federal correctional facility in Petersburg.
Prosecutors say Grayson allowed inmates to leave Fort Lee and meet prostitutes to have sex at nearby hotels. The inmates arranged the meetings with contraband cellphones.

Federal facility?
Could it be one of those "Country-club" facilities I've heard of for high-ranking political inmates?
However, here's a scenario: The job of running the facility was outsourced to a civilian contractor, in keeping with the current process of privatizing all government functions. "The government doesn't create jobs, the private sector does". If the government had run the facility, it would have involved more taxes to pay the employees, and everyone knows taxes are bad. The contractor's employee was merely exercising his right to make a profit as promoted by the less-government policy
guards?
Something does not make sense here. I am pretty sure that when they let these guys out for work release they don't just pin $20 to their jump suit and wish them luck. they ride down in a prison vehicle under guard. The guards are also supposed to stay with them to make sure they don't do anything stupid like, I don't know, wander off and have sex with prosititues.
What were the guards doing, on multiple occasions, while these prisoners were wanderring all over the place?

Why does Pilotonline only show certain criminals faces. He must have friends in high places.
Let me guess
You want to know what race he is, so you can reinforce your prejudices.
i bet he was getting more
i bet he was getting more than probation from this. what was he getting from prostitutes or inmates that he would allow inmates to do this. He should be getting jail time. Whats wrong with our judges today. I think they all need to go to jail. Just sayin
Best. Prison Guard. Ever.
Anyone who wasn't a prosecutor or judge would be giving this guy an employee of the year plaque.
Really?
This guy wasn't a guard, was an employee of a contractor.
These inmates are in prison because they broke the law, they're not
supposed to be having any fun. What if one of them really had escaped?
Then tax dollars would have been spent and lives endangered to get him back. This guy risked (and lost) a lot so that some guys could get busy
with a prostitute. Loser.
probation?
That's it!???
