Warm temperatures today combined with dry conditions could increase fire danger today and Wednesday, according to a hazardous weather notice from the National Weather Service.

Highs today and Wednesday are expected to be in the upper 60s with winds today out of the southwest at 9 to 14 mph, the statement says. Winds out of the south on Wednesday could gust above 25 mph.

Rain could move in Wednesday night and continue through the morning with a low of about 50 and a high Thursday near 60.

The headline should read

The headline should read "attention smokers who hang their butts out the car window"

What does mooning have to do with this?

This smoker won’t be throwing any butts out the window during this alert. No new laws needed thank you.

What "dry conditions?"

I still see water puddles from rain we had a week or so ago.
