Chris Brown, Rihanna together; Obama sings the blues

CHRIS BROWN, RIHANNA COLLABORATE ON SONGS: Three years after Chris Brown was charged with felony assault on Rihanna, the two released two collaboration tracks Monday. He sings and raps on a remix of her song "Birthday Cake (NSFW)," and she appears on a new version of his song "Turn up the Music." The industry and fans have mixed feelings, reports The Huffington Post. To which we respond: The guy is still serving probation for the assault! Read more via the LA Times and The Associated Press.

PRESIDENT OBAMA'S IMPROMPTU BLUES PERFORMANCE: President Obama joined Buddy Guy, B.B. King and Mick Jagger on stage to sing "Sweet Home Chicago at the White House blues concert Tuesday night as a part of the "In Performance at the White House" series that airs on PBS, reports CBS News. The blues concert, designed to recognize Black History Month, will be broadcast on Monday, Feb. 27, on PBS stations and aired later on American Forces Network. Read more via The Associated Press. JON STEWART ON VIRGINIA BILL:
Jon Stewart had a long laugh over Virginia's ultrasound bill last night. Comparing it to a TSA pat down. After airing a clip of Gov. Bob McDonnell calling the TSA lines "over the line with regard to people's, you know, concerns about privacy and their civil liberties," Stewart responded, "Let me explain the concerns about privacy and liberty in the bill you're about to sign. Women might consider this bill a TSA pat-down inside their vagina." Read a transcript of the segment on the Daily Kos. COLBERT SENDS NOD TO HIS MOM:
Stephen Colbert and the "Colbert Report" returned Monday after a sudden departure last week. Although there has been no official statement about his absence, he did give a nod to his mother during his intro monologue Monday: "Evidently, having 11 children makes you tough as nails. Confidential to a lovely lady." Colbert is the youngest of 11 children. Watch the intro:
