Posted to: Crime News North Carolina

WAVES, N.C.

A suspicious fire struck recently in the same neighborhood where two other homes were severely damaged by fire earlier this month.

The Sunday fire, in the 25000 block of Sea Vista Drive, involved a fence and the hot tub at the residence, a Dare County Sheriff's Office news release said. The home had minor damage.

Investigators have determined the fire was set. They are conducting interviews and analyzing information from the previous fires.

Deputies are offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest.

Those with knowledge are asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 252-475-5980, Investigator Phil Tokazowski at 252-475-9353, or the Dare Community Crime Line at 800-745-2746.
