ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY
The bridge on Longview Drive, also known as Va. 602, will be closed Thursday.
Crews will be collecting soil borings at the bridge over the Pagan River from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The borings are being collected to help determine a design for the new bridge.
A detour route will be marked for drivers.
