A Circuit Court judge Wednesday sent a Suffolk man to prison for 20 years for a January 2011 holdup outside a Pembroke bank where the victim was shot twice and permanently injured.
Timothy D. Holloman Jr., 29, had another 33 years of his sentence suspended on robbery, aggravated malicious wounding and other charges, according to the commonwealth's attorney's office.
A judge convicted Holloman in November of the early morning robbery of $11,000 in restaurant receipts from the owner of the Village Inn on Independence Boulevard. He was trying to make a deposit next door at a Bank of America.
