Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a shooting that injured one person Sunday.
Delando Smallwood, 32, of Suffolk, has been charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, according to a police news release today. Smallwood goes by the name “DJ Total Wreck” and drives a van with those words on the side.
Police say the shooting took place around 2 a.m. in the 4700 block of West Military Hwy. The victim, a 31-year-old male, was shot during an argument with Smallwood, who later fled on foot, according to the release.
The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a hospital before being released.
