'NCIS' 200th-episode recap; 35-foot whale shark

In the flash before a bullet hits him, Gibbs takes a look back at his life and the choices he's had to make. There his wife and daughter lived. The man he killed for revenge lived. And Gibbs wasn't the better for it. Old fans probably appreciated the cameo appearances and their significance to the story most. Did you watch? What did you think? GIGANTIC WHALE SHARK: This 35-foot whale shark (originally reported as 40-50-feet in length) was found dead off the coast of Kararachi, reports the Express Tribune, a Pakistan newspaper. It took more than four hours to lift the seven-ton whale out of the newspaper reported. The BBC has posted a photo gallery of the whale. A video of the haul has been posted to YouTube:
MADONNA TOURS AGAIN: First the Super Bowl, now a world tour. Live Nation Entertainment announced Tuesday that Madonna would embark on her first tour since 2009 May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel, reports the Associated Press. The North American portion of the tour will include Montreal, San Jose, Cleveland and a stop at Yankee Stadium. Tickets go on sale Feb. 13. 'IRON MAN' CELEBRATES NEW BABY: Robert Downey Jr.'s wife Susan delivered son Exton Elias Downey at 7:24 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7 in Los Angeles, reports PEOPLE. The baby boy weighs in at 7 lbs., 5 oz., is 20 inches long.

the 200th ncis was...
...the biggest yawner in the history of the series. I really like the show, but this particular episode was a real nodder and nearly put me to sleep 6 or 7 times in one evening.
