Old Dominion’s wrestling team erased a 10-point deficit to defeat No. 22 Central Michigan 18-17 on Sunday at the Constant Center.
It was the No. 25 Monarchs’ third win over a ranked team this season. They improved to 12-8.
Central Michigan won the first three matches to take a 10-0 lead, but ODU won the next four. Senior Te Edwards, wrestling at 174 pounds, put ODU ahead when he pinned Central Michigan’s Ryan Quinn.
