The Virginia Zoo has a new baby squirrel monkey.
The baby was born late Friday night or early Saturday morning and was discovered as it clung to the back of its mother, Marie, on Saturday morning, a zoo news release says.
Zookeepers likely won’t name the baby until they determine its sex.
It is the 18th squirrel monkey born at the zoo since 1967.
