Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA Inc., the Italian coffee manufacturer, has bought Sara Lee Corp.’s gourmet coffee business for food service customers.

The Sara Lee food service segment is expected to add more than $150 million in annual revenue, according to a Massimo Zanetti statement released Monday. The companies declined to dislose terms of the acquisition.

Sara Lee’s operation includes a roasting and packaging plant in Moonachi, N.J., and 115 workers. It will add 125 million pounds of coffee to the total that Massimo Zanetti sells to food service companies.

Massimo Zanetti’s headquarters are on Port Centre Parkway in Portsmouth. It is the U.S. subsidiary of Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group, a privately held coffee roaster and distributor, based in Villorba-Treviso, Italy.

The company sells Chock Full O’ Nuts, Hills Bros., Segafredo Zanetti Espresso, Meira and La San Marco among more than 20 coffee brands, as well as coffee- and espresso-making equipment.
