Report: Dodgers sign Kershaw to two-year deal
Posted to: Fantasy baseball
The Los Angeles Dodgers have avoided arbitration with ace pitcher Clayton Kershaw (pictured), signing the left-hander to a two-year, $19 million contract, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Kershaw, 23, went 21-5 with a 2.28 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 248 strikeouts in winning the NL Cy Young Award last season.
According to the Times, Kershaw will get a $500,000 signing bonus. He will make $7.5 million this season and $11 million in 2013.
Kershaw will likely be one of the first pitchers taken in fantasy drafts this season.
