Sea Level festival set for April in Ghent

Tidewater Arts Outreach will present its fifth annual Sea Level Singer/Songwriter Festival in the Ghent section of Norfolk April 5-7. The festival will kick off with a concert featuring Quantico--born Grammy-winning artist Shelby Lynne at the Naro Expanded Cinema.

Local musicians interested in participating in the festival's Emerging Artist Showcase should submit entries by March 1, including a $25 fee, a short bio and two uploaded MP3 files of original music with lyrics.

To qualify, singers/songwriters must live within 100 miles of Norfolk, must not have released a full-length album and must be able to perform on April 7.
