Suffolk man pleads guilty to molesting 11-year-old girl

SUFFOLK

A 23-year-old Suffolk man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.

Sean Michael Dennis pleaded guilty Monday to three counts of aggravated sexual battery of a child under 13; two counts of sexual penetration with an object, victim under 13; and two counts of taking indecent liberties in a custodial relationship.

Dennis is scheduled to be sentenced in Suffolk Circuit Court on April 13.

Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Nicole Belote said Dennis was arrested Oct. 5 and charged with the assaults, which, she said, occurred over a six-month period.

Dennis was being held in Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
