Three taken to hospital after crash in Va. Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH

Three people were taken to a hospital after a crash this morning at Indian Lakes Boulevard and Halifax Drive.

The crash was reported about 7 a.m., said EMS Division Chief Bruce Nedelka.

The crash involved a car and a truck. The driver of the car had to be cut free from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital with two passengers. They suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, Nedelka said.

Part of Indian Lakes Boulevard was closed while crews moved equipment in and out of the area.
