Trivia time: How many former Virginia Tech players can you name who played in the Super Bowl?

Posted to: Former Hokies Trivia

It's Super Bowl Sunday, so I'll keep today's post brief. Virginia Tech doesn't have any Super Bowl participants today, but it came close. Baltimore quarterback Tyrod Taylor and San Francisco wide receiver Josh Morgan (even though he's on the IR) were one step away.

But which former Hokies have made it to the Super Bowl? That's today's trivia question. Hint: there are 19 players whose teams made it. Sixteen of them were on the active roster. How many can you name?

Click and drag over the gray bar below to reveal the answers. (On an unrelated note, how dumb is it that we still use Roman numerals in Super Bowl titles?)

From Hokie to Super Bowl

Hi Andy - I had most of them. It helps being married to Jim Richards!

An oldie

How about Carroll Dale. Wasn't he playing for the Packers when they won the first two Super Bowls?
