The U.S. 17 off-ramp (exit 9A) from Interstate 664 north will reopen Friday after emergency concrete removal and replacement closed the exit on Tuesday.

The off-ramp should remain closed until the morning rush hour, a news release from the Virginia Department of Transportation said.

Detours will take motorists to College Drive (exit 8B). From College Drive, turn right onto Bridge Road and travel toward the James River Bridge. Bridge Road will become U.S. 17 north.

how about fix the onramp

Coming from I-664N to I-164E(western freeway). It is terrible. The sections of the road are not level/even & it bounces your car/truck up & down like a basketball. No kiddin', like a basketball. It even makes your car sound like it's a basketball. I avoid that onramp even though it's the one I need to take to get to my house in Churchland.
