Wind restrictions lifted at Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel

VIRGINIA BEACH

Wind restrictions have been lifted at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, officials said. 

Winds had reached 40 mph, prompting officials to keep the following types of vehicles from crossing the span:

- large pickup campers

- camper trailers

- house trailers

- anything being towed 

- vehicles with exterior cargo
