Weather: Cloudy, breezy, cool, with highs in the 50s

A coastal low off the southeast U.S. is producing gusty north and northeast winds across our region today.

Those winds will keep tidal levels above normal and a coastal flood advisory is in effect today for Hampton Roads until 4 p.m. Minor tidal flooding is expected as water levels at Sewells Point approach 4.7 feet. The high tide at Sewells Point occurs at 1:30 p.m.

Skies are cloudy and a few showers will be possible. Highs today will reach the upper 50s. Tuesday should be mostly cloudy and slightly cooler with highs in the mid 50s.

You can look forward to a lot more sunshine through the long Thanksgiving weekend! It will be mostly sunny Thanksgiving day with highs near 60.
