Weather: Brief cold spell, with highs in the upper 40s

High pressure will build into the region today, providing sunny skies and chilly temperatures. Afternoon highs will struggle to reach the upper 40s as a northeast breeze keeps temperatures down.

Clouds roll back in Friday but temperatures will warm back up to the upper 50s. Mostly cloudy skies are expected Saturday, and a shower or two will be possible, while partly sunny skies are expected Sunday. High temperatures both days will be in the upper 60s to near 70.
