Weather: Sunny skies with temps in the 50s

High pressure will build into the region, providing a sunny weekend.

Under sunny skies, afternoon temperatures will be in the lower to mid-50s today and Sunday.

A weak cold front will move through late Sunday and that will cool afternoon temperatures a bit Monday. It will be mostly sunny on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday with highs in the mid-40s.

A stronger cold front will move through Monday night, bringing in arctic air. A passing snow flurry is possible overnight. It will be much colder Tuesday and Wednesday with highs only in the mid-30s under partly sunny skies.
