Kate admits: 'I was wrong to treat Jon that way'
The Kate-Gosselin-Sets-It-Straight train rolled into Remorseland today.
The reality-TV star whose show has been postponed out from under her admits in her latest interview that she isn't proud of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 moments she spent berating hubby Jon Gosselin or otherwise bossing him around. (The main reason why many fans are rooting for "Team Jon" after the couple filed for divorce.)
"I was very hard on him and I would never deny that," she said tonight on the TLC special Kate: Her Story. "I felt very much like a lot of weight rested on my shoulders."
"I was wrong to treat him that way," she added. "Was it good, healthy and wonderful? No. Am I proud of those moments that were captured? No."
Though Jon is singing a different tune these days since his split from girlfriend Hailey Glassman. He's quite apologetic towards Kate for "openly having relationships in the public eye."
Are people still interested in "Kate Minus Jon Plus Eight?" Um, yes. According to E!, the 1-hour special of the Kate flying solo, "You Ask, Kate Answers," drew a bigger audience, 50 percent bigger, than the previous week's joint-custody adventure.

Kanye steals Taylor Swift's VMA moment
In true VMA form, the MTV awards show did not stick to the script.
The first winner of the night, Taylor Swift for best female video, was victim to this when she was rudely and quickly interrupted by Kanye West, who cut off her acceptance speech! He stole the microphone to announce that fellow nominee Beyoncé had "one of the greatest videos of all time," in "Single Ladies."
"I was standing on stage and I was really excited because I'd just won the award and then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage," Taylor said after the show. "And then I wasn't excited anymore after that."
Beyoncé, shocked by the outburst, was ever the gracious winner (and lady) when she offered Taylor a second chance at her acceptance speech when she later took the stage for her win for "Single Ladies."
In addition to the crowd booing Kanye when his name was announced as a nominee for best male video, the stars tweated about what a disaster Kanye's actions were. Jay Leno even gave Kanye a chance to address his fine VMA moment on his late night show, but Kanye just deferred to the death of his mother causing his outburst.
Kanye finally called Taylor this morning to apologize for his outburst after Taylor appeared on "The View" and said that she hadn't heard from Kanye.
Not only is the whole music industry appalled by Kanye, but President Obama was even recorded in an aside calling Kanye "a jack%$#."
What do you think? Do you agree with President Obama?

Jon Gosselin accuses Kate of stealing his wedding ring
More drama in the Gosselin house....
Jon just can't keep out of the limelight! Now he's claiming his ex Kate Gosselin didn't just steal a decade of his life – she also swiped his wedding ring!
Keeping it classy as always, Jon blasted his soon-to-be-ex on Good Morning America Monday in the latest of what's become a series of harsh banter via the media.
The 32-year-old father of eight also announced that he despises Kate, 34, who he says filled their many years of marriage with anger and abuse.
Whaaat. She's a little crazy, yes, but abusive?
Either way, Jon has done a 180 from only a couple weeks ago, when he said he still loved her. (Oh and he's broken up with his rebound girlfriend, wildchild Hailey Glassman too, but he "still loves her" as well.)
Jon and Kate announced they would be separating and divorcing on June 22 in a special one-hour show of "Jon and Kate Plus 8."
After all this drama and bickering, are you still looking forward to the new episodes of J&K Plus 8?....It's like a train wreck, you don't want to watch, but can't help it!

New cast of 'Dancing With the Stars' revealed!
"Dancing With the Stars," one of TV's most popular dance shows, just revealed their new cast of celebs who will take to the floor to compete for the larger than life "disco ball" trophy.
The new cast includes Former Republican Majority Leader Tom DeLay, entertainer Donny Osmond; singers Mya, Macy Gray and Aaron Carter; actors Melissa Joan Hart, Debi Mazar and Ashley Hamilton (son of George); models Joanna Krupa and Kathy Ireland; reality stars Kelly Osbourne and Mark Dacascos ("the Chairman" on Food Network's "Iron Chef America"); mixed martial artist Chuck Liddell; professional snowboarder Louie Vito; Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin; former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin and the 62-year-old former congressman from Texas.
The contestants were announced on Monday's "Good Morning America" by "Dancing" host Tom Bergeron. He also unveiled a new competitive twist!
"In the middle of our season, over three weeks, we're going to have double eliminations," said Bergeron. "We'll lose about half of our cast within that period. It will be a ballroom bloodbath."
Wait - they had a double elimination last season.....
At least ABC doesn't have to worry about any underage contestants who might be stalked this season. Shawn Johnson ended up winning, so I guess it was worth it - and the paycheck didn't hurt either!
The 9th season premieres Sept. 21.
Will you tune in for the next season?

'The Bachelorette' - Ed gets the girl
"Bachelorette" Jillian Harris hopped to the Big Island of Hawaii with her final two guys, Kiptyn and Ed, and fans finally got the moment they’ve been waiting all season for when the Canadian cutie picked Ed and he proposed with a $60,000 Neil Lane diamond ring.
But first, she had to get rid of Kiptyn — and Reid!
Kip arrived first to propose - all "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" fans know the first to arrive is getting the boot. As soon as he stepped out of the limo, I was feeling for Kiptyn. I thought he was a close second and tossed back and forth whether or not Jill would pick him. (Especially since she was clearly attracted to Kip and his six-pack abs!)
After saying a lot of sweet stuff, she told Kiptyn he wasn’t the one before he had a chance to pull out the ring. “This hurts a lot,” he said. “I have never had my heart broken before today.” (Jillian had always said she was concerned about the fact that Kip had always been the dumper and never the dumpee.)
In the finale, Jillian said she fell for both Ed and Kiptyn, but she looked pretty torn when ABC threw in a twist and allowed Reid to come back and profess his love - and propose!
She seemed to second guess her choice when Reid whipped out a ring, making her rethink her options indoors while Reid was left to sweat it out.
Host Chris Harrison saved Jillian from second guessing herself and she had to dump Reid a second time saying she had fallen in love with someone and couldn't let them go now.
That person, of course, was Ed. After an awkward pause, he finally declared, “I want to be with you forever. I want to have a family with you. I want you to give me a hard time when we’re 80 years old. Jillian, will you marry me?”
He got an “Absolutely!” from his girl and the two piggy-backed off into the sunset.
Happy ending and happy fans. I was rooting for Ed since the day he came back after leaving the show to salvage his job as a computer software consultant. This guy got his priorities straight and got the girl. I think they have a good shot of making it to the alter.
Bummed about the finale? Who do you think Jillian should have picked? (Leave a comment below....)

Engaged or not, Jon Gosselin's new girlfriend likes to party
Aside from rumors that they're already engaged - less than a month after announcing his seperation from Kate - one thing is for sure: Jon Gosselin's new girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, is quite the party girl.
Great. Sounds like the 32 year-old father of eight is trying to relive his 20's.
"She's one of those crazy party animals," one source tells People, adding that during her time at Indiana University, she never really had a steady boyfriend.
Hailey's wild side is reflected in the fact that she was busted for possession of marijuana and underage drinking. (Clearly not step-mom material.)
Jon's new GF, now 22, was caught passing around a marijuana pipe with five other students and possessed two bags of pot.
As if things could get any sketchier, Jon met Hailey through her father, the plastic surgeon who gave Jon's wife Kate a tummy tuck in 2006 after she gave birth to the couple's sextuplets. That hurts.
Let's just hope this is just a really bad re-bound on Jon's part..... sad. He's still locked into a contract for their hit reality TV show "Jon and Kate Plus 8," so he'll have to be home when he's not on romantic get-a-ways with the new GF to Saint-Tropez.

A JoBros gets engaged!
In case you had a long holiday weekend (like I did) and missed this – allow me to catch you up to speed on the biggest, breaking news to hit the tween scene this year: Kevin Jonas is engaged. (High-pitched screams heard worldwide.)
That’s right; one-third of the Jonas Brothers is officially off the market. Kev popped the question to girlfriend Danielle Deleasa on Wednesday. And his parents are “filled with joy.”
The oldest JoBros and his new bride-to-be haven’t set a date yet, but you can be sure there will be lots of fans trying to sneak a peak on the big day.
I’m glad to hear Kevin got to pop the big question first – that would’ve stunk to have his “hotter” younger bro, 19-year-old Joe, outshine him once again with getting engaged first. Joe is currently dating actress Camilla Belle.

The King of Pop and 'Charlie's Angel' leave a legacy
You know it's a busy day at CNN when two legendary icons die on the same day. In fact, Larry King made a live announcement around 8 p.m. to say he had canceled his interviews and rescheduled his whole show to dedicate it to Michael Jackson's death - when he had originally planned a tribute Farrah Fawcett, 70s icon, hair trend setter and an original "Charlie's Angel."
Farrah died after a long battle with cancer this morning at 62.
Michael J. suffered cardiac arrest this afternoon and was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday. The L.A. Corners office will look into his death and leave no stone unturned, much like Anna Nicole Smith's death.
His attorney has already said M.J. was hooked on prescription drugs and that it may have contributed to his death.
Drugs or no drugs, Jackson is one of the biggest icons of our time, bridging racial gaps and growing up in the public eye as a child star with his first performance at only 5 years-old.
The global superstar leaves behind a legacy of dance moves, bizarre court cases and relationships and the world record for the top selling album of all time - Thriller.
M.J. had been busy rehearsing for a high-stakes comeback tour, set to start within weeks in England, with dozens of dates scheduled and tickets selling out quickly. It's estimated he would have made 400 million from this 50 show tour.
As a dancer, I'll always love M.J. for his dance moves. Tonight, MTV canceled their originial programming as well to play his music videos and performances over and over. His dance moves have influenced some of our best dancers, singers and performers today such as Justin Timberlake, Usher and Chris Brown. I think I can safely say that any pop star, pop/locker or hip hop dancer has been influenced by M.J.
In honor of the King of Pop, enjoy two of my fav. songs:
Or watch Chris Brown's Thriller tribute to M.J.:

No longer 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' - couple files for divorce
The courts may call it a divorce, but Jon and Kate Gosselin are calling it a "new chapter." The season premiere hinted it was make it or break it time.
On a special one-hour show last night, Jon and Kate, stars of the TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus Eight, announced that they will separate and filed for divorce in a Pennsylvania court.
Though the couple tried to remain positive, citing they did not hate one another and that their kids will remain their priority, fans of the show are left wondering what went wrong.
Aside from the typical speculations - did the money get to their heads ($75,000 per episode!), or did they put their marriage on the backburner in order to survive raising multiples?
Or did fame finally get the best of them?
Kate released a statement that leaves fans wondering if there was more to the melt down beyond what the cameras captured.
"Over the course of this weekend, Jon's activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children," Kate said in a statement Monday night. "While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself."
But - as Kate said, "the show must go on." (Thanks to their contract with TLC.) For the rest of the season, I guess we can expect to see Jon find a new place (rumored to be NYC), and watch Jon and Kate take turns living in their home and caring for their 8 kids.
I've tuned into this show for awhile now and all I have to say is, though Jon says he's disapointed by their pending divorce, you can tell the man wants the freedom of his 20-something glory days. He's hanging out with college kids. He's sporting earrings again and taking trips all over the U.S. to do "what he wants." He feels like he's missing out on life because he has to care for kids instead of go snowboarding at the drop of a hat.
From the outside looking in, he can appear selfish and immature - but all the guys I know say they wouldn't stay with a wife who bossed them around and nagged like Kate does. Either way - I'm bummed to see they couldn't work things out, especially for their kids.
