At the time he was only 8 years old but he was still sort of a hero to me. There was something incredible about Beau from the very early stages of his life; his POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Izhak Perlman & his students performed such a beautiful show yesterday at our Sandler Center for the Performing Arts. It's quite remarkable to hear such perfect music in a live setting. As usual, Mr. Perlman's performance was spot-on and wonderful. I am so sad about this because he was truly one of my favorite performers. I remember listening to The Beastie Boys cassette tape "License to Ill" when I was in the 7th grade.
