The sun explodes into adventurous Sagittarius. This is the sign of the centaur, half-human and half-horse, a strange breed considered by the ancient Greeks to be wild, rude and drunken, all except for one. A centaur named Chiron performed heroic acts and showed great heart, so was rewarded and transformed into a constellation by Zeus.

The Virgo moon nudges us to get it together in terms of health. It's not just about fitness or nutrition, though; it's about harmonizing our body, mind and spirit. The world is rich in spectacle, each more vivid and inviting than the last. Breaking out of the comfort zone in the name of adventure is a favorite pastime during this transit, which will last until Dec. 26.

Mercury in mysterious Scorpio forms an exciting alliance with Uranus in spiritual Pisces. This highlights our fascination with "the beyond," and not just in the heavenly sense. Sure, we're interested in ghosts and other worldly phenomenon, but this also pertains to what's beyond the neighbor's gate, the city limits or what's over the rain.

The Gemini moon is a chatty one, starting conversations everywhere. Even people who aren't normally so expressive are finding some subject of interest worthy of a few words. Whether you're discussing the state of things, or too busy giving the rest of them something to talk about, it's all a lot of fun during this congenial passage.
